Resolve inflammation with Frontline Neuropathy

It is important that we are all aware of how inflammation affects our health.

A little bit of inflammation at the right time is a good thing. For example when you sprain your ankle, inflammation and swelling around the joint protect it from further damage.

But chronic inflammation from lifestyle factors is a silent drain on health. This inflammation can arise from stress, food choices or environmental factors. Over time this inflammation affects every cell in your body causing damage that can lead to the development/progression of diabetes, cancer and other degenerative diseases.

While it is important that we acknowledge the impact inflammation can have on health, it is also important to know how to protect your body.

New research published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry shows that the omega-3 DHA is key to resolving inflammation, specifically nerve inflammation. The body is able to turn DHA into a molecule called NeuroProtectin D1 (NPD1), which does many different things for nerves. In the case of nerve inflammation, NPD1 resolves inflammation and helps cells recover from damage. Interestingly, my research in diabetic neuropathy identified NPD1 as a factor that kick-starts the nerve growth/repair process that leads to nerve regeneration.

So what does this mean for our health? Go take your Frontline Neuropathy! take it because your body needs essential omega-3s as nutrition therapy to resolve inflammation and keep nerves healthy.
